Standard Chartered Super Value Titanium Credit Card gives attractive cashback on fuel purchases, phone bills and utility bills – but only on low purchase amounts.
You require a minimum income of ₹55,000 per month (salaried individuals), to qualify for the card.
You get 5% cashback on fuel expenses (including fuel surcharge)-
– only on fuel transactions below ₹2000 (since maximum cashback per transaction is capped at ₹100), and
– only on fuel purchases upto ₹4000 per month (since maximum cashback per month is capped at ₹200)
Cashback is automatically paid into your monthly credit card statement.
You get 5% cashback on phone bills-
– only on phone bill transactions between ₹750 and ₹2000 (since maximum cashback per transaction is capped at ₹100, and minimum transaction amount required is ₹750), and
– only on bill payments upto ₹4000 per month (since maximum cashback per month is capped at ₹200)
– Payment needs to be made through StandChart’s Billpay platform

You get 5% cashback on utility bills :
– only on bill transactions between ₹750 and ₹2000 (since maximum cashback per transaction is capped at ₹100, and minimum transaction amount required is ₹750), and

– Payment needs to be made through StandChart’s Billpay platform
Cashback is automatically paid into your monthly card statement.
You earn 1 reward point on every ₹150 you spend on all other card purchases, meaning 0.66 reward points (worth ₹0.16 or 16 paise), on every ₹100 you spend = 0.16% benefit.
1 reward point = ₹0.25 or 25 paise.
Exceptions : No reward points are given on returned purchases, disputed or unauthorized/fraudulent transactions, finance charges, card account fees, cash withdrawals and charged back transactions.

– Fee of ₹99 will apply for each reward point redemption

Premium Banking qualification criteria
– Minimum monthly average funds under management of ₹15 lakh, or
– Minimum monthly salary credit into Standard Chartered salary account of ₹1.50 Lakh, or
– Mortgage approved amount of ₹1 crore and above, in the first 12 months of commencement of Premium Banking relationship, and thereafter maintain a mortgage outstanding balance above ₹1 crore.
– If one family member meets the Premium qualification criteria, the other members of his/her family can enjoy Premium Banking benefits. Family members include, if single status, parents. In case of married status – spouse and children.

The Standard Chartered Super Value Titanium Credit Card is a good entry level card. You get 5% cashback on fuel purchases, phone bills and utility bill payments. But this 5% cashback is given only on low monthly spend amounts in these categories, hence it is suitable for comparatively low spenders in these categories. The card has an appealing welcome offer, and is virtually free from the 2nd year onwards if you spend ₹90,000 or more in the previous year.
