Standard Chartered Smart Credit Card is an entry level cashback card from Standard Chartered, which gives 2% cashback on all online spends, and 1% on all other card spends.
You earn ₹2 cashback, on every ₹100 you spend on online purchases. This is valid only on online purchases upto ₹50,000 per month, since the maximum cashback given at this special rate is ₹1000 per month.
Note : For bill payments through Billdesk or StanChart Bill Pay, only transactions on billers registered under the following categories will be eligible for cashback:
– Telecom
– Utilities (electricity, water, gas)
You can see and redeem earned cashback on the Rewards Portal of the Bank called 360 Rewards . Cashback is not credited automatically but needs to be redeemed on the 360 Rewards portal. You can redeem a minimum cashback of ₹1000 for the first time, and then in multiples of ₹500.

Exceptions : The following transactions do not earn any cashback – fuel purchases, returned purchases, disputed or unauthorized/fraudulent transactions, transactions not initiated by the cardholder, finance charges, any other charges and fees, charged back transactions; and cash advances.

In India, contactless payments are allowed for a maximum of ₹5000 for a single transaction without requiring a Credit Card PIN. For transactions equal to or higher than ₹5000, the cardholder must input their Credit Card PIN for security reasons.
