Paytm SBI Card is a cobranded card in partnership with Paytm, a well known e-commerce platform. It offers special benefits on a variety of spends and purchases on the Paytm platform.


Pros & Cons of Paytm SBI Card

Pros

  • Good card for Paytm users, you get upto 3% cashback on a variety of spends

Cons

  • Cashback on non-Paytm purchases is quite low (1%), hence you will need to consider other cards to earn higher rewards on non-Paytm spends.
  • Not a good card for people who prefer in-store (face to face) shopping, and do not like online shopping

Fuel surcharge waiver upto ₹100 per month

You get 1% fuel surcharge waiver, on fuel transactions between ₹500 and ₹3000 only. And only on fuel spends upto ₹10,000 per month, since the maximum waiver is capped at ₹100 per month.

Although your credit card eligibility is based on multiple parameters which can be assessed once you apply for the SBI Credit Card, there are certain basic criteria that all applicants must fulfil.

Application Process

You need to login to your Paytm account and check offer eligibility.

Necessary documents and verification

Required documents   – PAN card

– Copy of Aadhaar card (with first 8 digits masked) or any valid government address proof

– Income documents – salary slip, income tax return etc. may be required depending upon the credit card eligibility & policy

In addition to these, you maybe asked to provide additional documents, on a case-to-case basis.
