IRCTC BoB Rupay Credit Card is a co-branded railway credit card from BoB Financial. You get 10.50% benefit on AC class rail tickets in the non-peak season, and 4.50% benefit in peak travel season. You get lifestyle benefits like complimentary railway lounge access.
You also earn cashback on UPI spends, since the card is on the RuPay platform.
✔︎ 10% benefit
– You earn 40 reward points worth ₹10, on every ₹100 spent in this category.
– This benefit is valid only for travel dates between 15th Jan – 31st Mar, and 15th July – 15th Sep (non-peak season), and is valid only on online rail bookings.
– 1 reward point = ₹0.25 (25 paise). Reward points are transfered to your IRCTC account, 4 reward points = 1 IRCTC point = ₹1 (hence 1 reward point = 25 paise).
Important points to note-
– You need to link your loyalty number with your IRCTC account, else you will not receive reward points (11 digit loyalty number is mentioned on the IRCTC BOB Card below cardholder name)
– Reward points will be transferred to your IRCTC account within 5 days after completing eligible rail travel
– Reward points are given only to the primary cardholder, even if the primary cardholder books tickets of family members also.
– Reward points are given only on online rail bookings on IRCTC. Reward points are not given on ticket purchases at the Passenger Reservation System counters.
– You can redeem IRCTC points only against full fare of the ticket, part redemption of points and balance payment from your card is not allowed.

– You also also earn 2 BOB reward points worth ₹0.50 (50 paise), on every ₹100 spent in this category.
– 1 reward point = ₹0.25 (25 paise), and can be redeemed as cashback.

– You earn 16 reward points worth ₹4, on every ₹100 spent in this category.
– This benefit is valid only for travel dates between 1st April – 14th July, and 16th Sep – 14th Jan (peak season), and is valid only on online rail bookings.

You earn 4 reward points worth ₹1, on every ₹100 you spend on grocery & department store purchases. You earn 2 reward points worth ₹0.50 or 50 paise, on every ₹100 you spend on all other card purchases and on UPI spends.

On UPI spends, you can earn a maximum of 500 reward points per month. On non-UPI spends you can earn a maximum of 1000 reward points per month.

You are not charged 1% transaction charges, when you use your card to book railway tickets at IRCTC
You get a 1% fuel surcharge waiver at all fuel stations across India, only on fuel transactions between ₹500 and ₹3000. And only on fuel purchases upto ₹10,000 per month, since the maximum waiver is capped at ₹100 per monthly card statement cycle.
