HSBC Visa Platinum Credit Card is a lifetime free credit card from HSBC Bank. It gives you the option to earn airmiles on your card spends, since you can convert your reward points to airmiles. Airmile conversion is not very commonly offered on a lifetime free card.
It has a minimum annual income requirement of ₹4 lakhs, and is available at select locations – Chennai, Gurgaon, Delhi National Capital Region (NCR), Pune, Noida, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kochi, Coimbatore, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad or Kolkata.
There is no joining fee or annual fee on the card.
You earn 1.3 reward points worth 1.3 airmiles, on every ₹100 you spend (2 reward points on every ₹150 card spend). This assumes you convert reward points to Avios, 1 reward point = 1 British Airways Airmile (called Avios).
You get a lower value of reward points on HSBC’s rewards redemption platform, or if you convert reward points into airmiles of other airlines.

You earn 6.6 reward points worth 6.6 airmiles, on every ₹100 you spend (10 reward points on every ₹150 card spend). This assumes you convert reward points to Avios, 1 reward point = 1 British Airways Airmile (called Avios). The 5X accelerated reward points are restricted to 15000 per year, which you reach at ₹6.25 lakh annual card spend.

You get a 1% fuel surcharge waiver on fuel transactions between ₹400 and ₹4000 only. And on fuel spends upto ₹25000 per month, since the waiver amount is restricted to ₹250 per month.
If you lose your HSBC Cashback Credit Card, you’ll bear no liability for transactions made on the card after reporting and registering the loss with the bank. You’re also covered for any misuse of your HSBC Cashback Credit Card for up to 24 hours before reporting and registering the loss, up to a limit of ₹3 lakhs.
