Important terms and conditions on earning reward points-
– Reward points are given only on online rail bookings on IRCTC.
– Reward points are given only if you have linked your loyalty number with your IRCTC account (11 digit loyalty number is mentioned on the IRCTC BOB Card below cardholder name).
– Reward points are only given to the primary cardholder, in case the primary cardholder books tickets of family members also.

Important terms and conditions on redeeming reward points-
– You can redeem reward points only through your own IRCTC account
– You can redeem reward points only against full fare of the ticket, part redemption of points and balance payment from your card is not allowed.

Drawbacks to consider
– Benefit rate on non-railway spends is low, hence you may need to look at other credit cards also to earn good rewards on your other spends like shopping, fuel, bill payments etc.
– There is no discount on non-AC rail tickets.
